Karen Lang is the owner and founder of Trousseaux. Founded in 2004, Trousseaux is an awning front shop displaying a tasteful selection of jewelry, antiques, clothing, gifts, and home decor in styles varying from elegance to retro chic.

Karen earned her bachelor associate degree in English Literature at DePauw University, and later her Master of Arts in Social Policy at Northwestern University. Prior to her ownership of her businesses, Trousseaux and Hinsdale Lighting, Karen taught classes at Lyons Township High School for nine years.

Karen began designing rooms at the age of fourteen. Her early experience as a designer, her love of elegance and quality, and her eye for design and penchant for hometown customer service inspired her to open her businesses, which have continued to flourish over the years.

Karen remains President and CEO of both companies, Trousseaux and Hinsdale Lighting. Though the distinct styles and products represented in the shops have changed over the years, what has not is Karen's originality and flair, both of which are entirely dedicated to the satisfaction of the customer.
